LG V40 LCD REPAIR - V40 ThinQ LCD REPLACEMENT - 'MOA' SUWON KOREA

Today we are going to review for LG V40 LCD replacement.

It was released 2018 Oct. It's code name is storm. 

The code name represent the strong hope of LG that it could boom up their 

cellphone business. 

Than let's see the V40 which I am going to review.

Because of the damage from the side , LCD is broken condition. 

LCD can not be repaired. It needs to be replaced with new one. 

Than let's see how to replace LCD 

Step 1 : Open the back cover 

The surface of the back cover is glass material. 

So you need to be careful to open it 

Step 2 : Remove the wireless charging pad 

The pad is tighten with screw. 

It's easy to remove. 

Step 3 : Remove mainboard 

Some of the units are connected with main board. 

 First disconnect the connectors than you can easily remove the main board. 

Step 5 : Remove the LCD 

After removing the main board , you can remove the LCD

Now you are ready to replace the LCD with new one

Step 5: Replace the new LCD and 

assemble the part in vise verse. 

It;s the V40 with new LCD 

In LG smartphone lots of components ae modular 

and can be replaced independently. 

So if you find the problem , with replacing the part 

repair can be done easily.
